Kenneth "Leray" Vetaw, 44, of Topeka, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 19, 2017. He was born February 13, 1973 in Independence, Kansas, the son of Everett Bruner and Leslie Vetaw.

Survivors include his four children, Jeveny Johnson, Sierra Vetaw, Sadaja Vetaw and Ja’Kai Johnson, five grandchildren, Emir, Ro’Mir, Maurice, Emilio, Paris, and his mother, Leslie Vetaw, father, Everett (Christy) Bruner and his siblings, Jermaine Vetaw, Marcus McCoy, Dallas Fulton, Shamir Bruner, Randy Owens and Naketa McChriston.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 26. 2017 at Lakeview Church of the Nazarene. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
