She was born on December 6, 1927 in Topeka, the daughter of Panfilo and Jacinta (Lopez) Toledo.
She married Arthur J. Lopez, Sr. on June 9, 1948 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1996. She was also preceded in death by son, Greg A. Lopez; daughter, Monica L. Wiley; and three siblings, Leon Toledo, Tony Toledo and Virginia Toledo.
She is survived by children, Arthur P. Lopez, Jr. and Susan (Placido) Vargas; siblings, Alice (Raymond) Valdez, Ofelia (Joe) Ortiz, Esperanza Barajas and Angie (Rudy) Serrano; six grandchildren, Jennifer Ruiz (Sam), Ken Lopez (Kristen), Elisa Gallegos (Alberto), Monique Calderon (Sombra), Thomasina Johansen, Papo Vargas (Jana); 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
The rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 201 NE Chandler. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 801 SW Westchester Rd.
