He was born on April 4, 1933 to Clarence and Margarite Artzer.
Paul worked for McAbee Body Shop for over 40 years before retiring.
He married Pattie Lou Blazier on April 11, 1954 in Topeka, KS. They enjoyed 63 wonderful years together. She preceded him in death on October 3, 2017.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Artzer (Debbie); and a sister, Mary Jo Johnson.
He is survived by children, Datha Artzer of Topeka, Darwin Artzer (Dana) of Phoenix, AZ, Tommy Artzer (Christine) of Topeka, and Shelly Artzer of Topeka; siblings, Clarence (Butch) Artzer, Pete Artzer, Cathy Nicolay; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in the Chapel at Mount Hope Cemetery, 17th & Fairlawn. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka.
