Eugene Curtis Foltz, age 89, died on June 3, 2018, at his home in Topeka.

Gene was married to Doris Jeline Jernigan of Wakarusa for 52 years.

He is a graduate of Washburn Rural High ‘46 and Kansas State University ’50 and later served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

He worked in Tulsa, OK as a real estate appraiser and mortgage banker. He was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church and served as an elder and tenor soloist.

Later he moved to Topeka, joined First Presbyterian Church and served as a deacon and sang in the choir.

For the past 18 years he enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels.

He is survived by his four daughters, Leslie, Claudia, Gretchen and Rozlyn, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church, 817 SW Harrison Street, Topeka.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 817 SW Harrison Street, Topeka, KS 66612 or to John Knox Presbyterian Church, 2929 E. 31st Street, Tulsa, OK 74105.
