Yvonne Marie Herring, passed away on June 26th, 2024 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 5th,1955 to Clyde and Martha (Reneau) Hackler.
Yvonne worked in daycare most of her adult life and last worked for a non-profit organization that provided daycare for at risk families from 1992-2001.
Yvonne moved from Indianapolis to Kansas City in 2003 and spent her later years with her beloved fiancé Thomas Betterton until her passing.
She will be missed by all of her family and touched many lives through her work and the gifts she gave to others.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her father; Clyde Hackler ,beloved step-father; Glen Etheridge, and brother; Ronald Hackler.
She is survived by her sons; Bryan Herring,Jr. ,Charles Herring, Eric Herring, fiancé; Thomas Betterton, mother; Martha Hackler, sister; Rita Miller, brother; Randy Hackler and several grand children.
She brought many people joy with her gifts of blankets, scarves and other designs from a lifetime of crocheting as a hobby.
