Virginia Kinney Metzler, 89, a retired bookkeeper, passed away October 7, 2007 in Fort Worth, Texas. Virginia was born August 15, 1918 in Iola, the daughter of William H. and Edna Shaw Kinney. She was a member of the University Christian Church in Fort Worth.
Survivors include daughter, Kaye Beall and husband, Johnny of Cleburne, Texas; son, Dale Metzler and wife, Glenna of Yukon, Oklahoma; grandsons, Adam Metzler and wife, Rachael of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Cory Metzler of Yukon, Oklahoma; and great-granddaughter, Madelyn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Carbondale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army.
Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is in charge of Topeka arrangements.
