Trenton James Hottell, 19, of Kimball Nebraska passed away on September 7th, 2026.
He was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on July 4th, 2007, the son of Casey Roy Hottell and Tiffany Marie Buskirk. Growing up, he attended Kimball County High School where he showcased many athletic abilities including playing football, basketball, track, and trap shooting. Lovingly known as the class clown, Trenton always knew how to make others around him laugh. He graduated in 2025 and went on to take a job in welding, oil rigging, and fencing.
In his spare time, Trenton enjoyed playing many video games, going on walks with his fiancé Anna, playing card games, and had recently discovered a new found love of golf.
His friends and family will most remember him for the respect and love he showed the people close to him, being naturally funny, and having the loudest air horn in town.
Survivors include his parents, Casey Roy Hottell and Tiffany (Josh) Buskirk, siblings, Bridgette and Elizabeth Hottell, brother, Braxton Brawner, sister, Jocelyn Buskirk, fiancé, Anna Coleman, grandparents, Ken and June Keller and Dave (Karen) Hottell, as well as many other family members and friends, all of whom will miss him very much.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Juanita Hottell.
Private family inurnment will happen at a later date.
