Terry Clinton Allen (known to many as "Meathead") a devoted family man and talented craftsman, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at the Coffey County Hospital. Born on July 30, 1956, in Stafford, Kansas, Terry lived a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience.

A graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School, Class of 1976, Terry dedicated his career to welding, showcasing his skill and expertise throughout the years. He also worked at Spot Not Car Wash, where his presence and bright smile left an indelible mark on both customers and colleagues alike.

Terry was known for his wonderful smile and striking big blue eyes that could light up any room. Those who knew him would describe him as a caring individual with a great sense of humor. He was a lovable "big soft teddy bear," whose dedication to those around him was unwavering. While he could be stubborn and hard-headed, these traits only emphasized his passionate character and deep commitment to family.

Family was everything to Terry. He took immense pride in his daughters—KayLyn, Terri, and Alyssa—and his six beloved grandchildren, who meant the world to him. Terry was always present at their sporting events and activities, demonstrating his steadfast support and love. He cherished the moments spent with them, watching them grow and flourish, and his presence will be sorely missed by each of them.

Terry's interests were as vibrant as his personality. He was an avid APA pool player, engaging in several leagues, and found joy in fishing and playing golf. A true sports enthusiast, he passionately supported the Chiefs and Kansas State athletics.

Terry's legacy also includes his loving mother, Donna Allen, and his close-knit family: brother Michael, sister Ellen, as well as his ex-wives Barbara and Rena, who all shared in the joy of knowing him. He will be remembered fondly by nieces, nephews, and an array of friends whose lives he touched.

He is now reunited with his father, Johney Allen, his daughter Kristi Reece, and sons Dustin Reece and Randall Allen, along with his sister Patricia Allen, an angel grandchild, and other beloved family members who have gone before him. The warmth of their reunion brings solace amidst the sorrow of his passing.

Terry will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His spirit and kindness will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and every life he brightened with his love and laughter.

Services are pending and will be announced by the funeral home at a later date.
