Susan Elisabeth Reed

Susan Elisabeth Reed was born on May 12, 1956 and entered rest on Friday, September 23, 2022 at her home in Topeka, Kansas. She was born to William Arthur Reed Jr. and Kathryn Jane (Reid) Reed. Susan worked for Venture for 11 years and most recently retired from Dillon's as an associate in February of 2022. She loved birds and squirrels and derived much pleasure from watching them. She enjoyed doing "Fill-it-in" & word search puzzles and doing plastic canvas projects.

Susan was a very loving and giving person who also had a wonderful sense of humor. She was an excellent cook and baker. She made many treats for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents and Parents (William A. Reed Jr. & Kathryn Jane Reed). She is survived by her sister Nancy Kathryn Reed(Daniel) Burns of Horton, Kansas and numerous relatives and friends.

The Memorial service will take place at Penwell-Gable Funeral Home in Topeka, Ks. on October 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM with a visitation at 10:00 AM for friends and family. There will also be an opportunity for those who wish to write down their memories of Susan. She will be sorely missed!
