Ruth Elaine Peterson, 90, of Topeka, passed away March 12, 2012. She was born February 20, 1922, in Manhattan, KS. Ruth married LeRoy (Pete) Peterson on October 18, 1942, in Corpus Christi, TX. He preceded her in death in 2006. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Hokanson; and sister, Helen Pricer.
Survivors include daughter, Jean (Jerry) Morgan; grandchildren, David (Melissa) Morgan, Rebecca (Raymond) Clotfelter; three great grandchildren, Duncan, Jaime, and Quentin; and sister, Betty Drovetta.
Mrs. Peterson was cremated and private services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5375 Southwest 7th St., Topeka, KS 66606.
