It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronna J. Rowe, who passed away peacefully on her 66th birthday, December 5th, 2025, in her home surrounded by love.
Ronna was born on December 5th, 1959, to Donald and Kathleen Emery (Dietz). She attended Seaman High School in Topeka, Kansas. Following her graduation, Ronna pursued her passion in the medical field as a medical imaging and radiological technician. Her work helped improve and save the lives of many people, as she was also an advocate for breast cancer awareness.
An active member of Stony Point Christian Church, Ronna shared her spirit and kindness through her church family. She had a special place in her heart for the other women at the church that shared in fellowship with her.
On May 12th, 1979, Ronna married the love of her life, John F. Rowe, in Topeka, Kansas. Together, they created a home in Kansas City, Kansas filled with laughter and joy, raising two loving sons. When they were younger and in school, she was active as a member of the PTA within the Turner School District.
Ronna cherished her family deeply, and as her sons grew older and moved away, she took it upon herself to connect with them in new ways. She embraced their interests wholeheartedly, learning to play their favorite video games so she could play with them. When both of her sons were married, Ronna embraced and loved her daughters-in-law as her own daughters. In her quiet moments, she found joy in sewing, often crafting thoughtful gifts for others rather than herself. Most importantly though, Ronna treasured every moment spent with her three grandchildren, who brought immense light and happiness into her life.
Survivors include her mother, Kathleen Emery; her two sons, Justin (Reba) and Nathan (Stacie) Rowe; three grandchildren, Samara, Zachary, and Lillian; her sister, Jodie (David) Bevens; as well as several brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews, all of whom will miss her very much.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John; her father, Donald; her brother, Dana, and her sister Darla.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, December 13th at Stony Point Christian Church, 149 S 78th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66111. Visitation will be at 2:00PM, with memorial services beginning at 3:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Ronna’s name to Stony Point Christian Church Children’s Ministries.
As we remember Ronna, we celebrate her nurturing spirit, unwavering love, and the countless memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever held in our hearts.
