Born in Lawrence July 26, 1957, Robert Mitchell (Bob) Frost would be shaped by so many things. His loving family relied on their faith to make it through some challenging times. He then would go on to shape the lives of others, especially his family.
Bob was graduated from Topeka High School in 1975. He was a very proud Trojan. Then in 1979 he was graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a BBA in accounting.
After college Bob earned his CPA license. He worked for Marvin Maydew, CPA and then worked for Westar, until he took early retirement. Numbers were natural and important to Bob as food is to a chef.
Bob loved many sports. He enjoyed playing softball, and was a fan of K-State football, KU basketball, the Chiefs, and the Royals. He also loved to fish and ride horses.
Being single, Bob was passionate about his nieces and his great nieces and nephews. He has been indispensable, providing transportation when needed, which earned him the title "Uncle Uber Bob". He made all our lives easier and was as unselfish as could be.
Finally, it is important to acknowledge his faith. It was the most important force in his life, outside of family. He was a member of the Church of Christ, having attended at both Quivera Heights and Northside Churches of Christ.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Frost, and his sister, Linda Frost. He is survived by his mother, Edith Frost, sister, JoAnn Kirk (Steve), nieces: Christa Kirk- Webber (Florida), Josie Kirk-Pagel, Liesel Kirk-Fink (Brad Fink), and great nieces and nephews: Chloe, Cavan, Coco, Cruz (Florida) and Titan, Taylen, Teagan, Tinsley, Grayson, Peyton, Clayton, and Kennison (Topeka,KS).
Burial will be a private service in the near future. In lieu of flowers, a donation to TARC would be gratefully accepted as they helped his sister Linda growing up.
