Patsy Ann (Bell) Bender, 85, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022.
She was born January 25, 1937 in Rosebud, Texas, the daughter of James and Maryella (Ross) Bell.
Patsy married Willis "Bill" L. Bender on April 10, 1954 in Cameron, TX. After their union in marriage, Patsy traveled overseas while Bill was active in the service. Their four children were born and traveled with them to many countries. She spent most of her younger years being a homemaker and loved the time she was able to spend caring for her children.
After her children were grown, she started working for American Bindery as a Supervisor. She worked there for 18 years and retired in 2000.
Patsy adored her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed knitting, camping and loved sitting outside on her patio. Her story telling will be missed by many.
She is survived by her children, Billie Tabor, Vickie Hane, Diana (Tim) James and Willis (Debbie) Bender, Jr.; nine grandchildren and two step grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren and one brother, Bobby (Peggy) Bell. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Willis "Bill" L. Bender and her parents.
Patsy will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery and private family services will take place. In her honor, memorial contributions may be made to the choice of the donors.
