Patricia J. "Pat" Persley, 79, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at a local hospital.
Pat was born May 22, 1941 in Topeka, the daughter of Ed and L. Gray. She graduated from Washburn Rural High School.
She was employed as a Corrections Officer for the State of Kansas, Department of Corrections for 20 years.
Pat married John Persley in 1984. He survives. Other survivors include children, Daniel, David, Charlie and John; and brother, Scottie Gray.
Private graveside services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
