Linda Stafford, 61, of Kansas City, KS, departed on Monday, March 5, 2012, at Providence Nursing Home, Topeka, KS.
Linda Sue Hamilton Stafford was the youngest child, born on March 17th, 1950, in Kansas City, KS, to Fred and Melody (Kelly) Wilson. Linda graduated from Rosedale High School and was the first of seven siblings to attend college in Emporia, KS.
She is survived by her two children, Benita Bernice Wilson and Robert Lee Ramsey Wilson; three grandchildren, Robert Wilson III, Shenia Kay Wilson and Shayla Kay Wilson; soulmate, Gregory Stafford; sister, Bernice Arlene (Wilson) Turner; 14 nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, father, three brothers and one sister; Fred "Whimpy" Wilson Jr., John H. Wilson, Alfred Wilson and Judith M. Wilson; and niece Michelle Wilson.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. March 8, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka.
