Liborio Cruz-Gutierrez, 60, of Topeka, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026.

He was born July 5, 1965, in Apulco Zacatecas, Mexico, the son of Liborio Cruz Padilla and Micaela Gutierrez Ramirez.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Cruz-Jaureguia; two daughters, Dalia and Violeta Cruz-Jaureguia; four brothers and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Hilarion Cruz Gutierrez.

 Family will greet friends during a visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Penwell-Gabel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66604.

Funeral Service will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the funeral home.

Nació el 5 de julio de 1965, en Apulco Zacatecas, México, hijo de Liborio Cruz Padilla y Micaela Gutierrez Ramirez.

Sobrevive su esposa Virginia Cruz Jauregi, dos hijas Violeta Cruz Jauregui y Dalia Cruz Jauregui, cuatro hermanos y cuatro hermanas. Su padres fallecieron antes que él y su hermano Hilarion Cruz Gutierrez

La familia recibirá a los amigos y parientes durante el velorio que tendrá lugar el 22 de enero 2026 en Penwell-Gabel, 1321 SW 10 Ave. Topeka, KS 66604 entre las 4pm y 8pm

El servicio fúnebre se tomará a cabo el 23 de enero, 2026 a las 10am en la funeraria Penwell-Gabel
