Karen J. Lollman, 71, of Topeka, KS passed away on August 22nd, 2026 at Midland Hospice surrounded by love. She was born on June 14, 1955 to Rex and Gloria Nightingale (Hanzlik). Growing up, she attended Centralia High School in Centralia, KS where she was in the graduating class of 1973. Karen then went on to further her education at the University of Washburn where she received her Associates Degree in Computer Science.
On October 7th, 1978, Karen married William (Bill) Lollman. Together they had two sons, Scott and Chris. Karen loved being a mother, and was very proud of her boys.
Karen retired from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment after 34 years of state service as a program manager for the recycling program.
Survivors include her loving husband, Bill Lollman, her two sons, Scott (Susan) Lollman of Olathe, and Chris Lollman of Topeka; her sister, Judy Clouse of Topeka, sister-in-law’s; Carol (Fred) Dunn of Estes Park, Co, and Nancy (Dave) Petro of TX; mother-in-law, Nancy Lollman, as well as nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her very much. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Gloria.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 25th from 5:00-7:00PM at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66604. Funeral services will take place the following day, Wednesday, August 26th beginning at 11:00AM at the funeral home, with a luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Cat Association of Topeka.
