Karen A. (Sanderson) Dooley, 67, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Midland Hospice.
She was born on September 13, 1944 in Waterville, Kansas to K. Albert and Helen (Mills) Sanderson.
On May 24, 1980, she married Leslie Paul Dooley, they were divorced December 9, 1999. Karen was a member of V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 10815 in Meriden.
Karen is survived by her son, Thomas J. Dooley, Topeka ; a brother, Michael A. (Darlene) Sanderson, Yakima, WA; two nieces, Christina Rowe and Jennifer Sanderson; and aunt, Lenore Edoff, Meriden, KS.
Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is assisting with the cremation. Private inurnment will take place at a later date in the Meriden Cemetery.
