John "JJ" W. Johnston

John (JJ) William Johnston, 69, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Wednesday, June 3rd 2026.

He was born in Topeka, KS, the son of Lee and Martha (Prigel) Johnston. 

John retired from KNI plant shop on September 28, 2017. He loved being around his friends at Sunflower supports day program and enjoyed supporting his favorite team, the KU Jayhawks. John was a vibrant and loving spirit who will be missed by many.

A graveside service will take place on Monday, June 15th 2026 at 10:45AM at Greenwood Cemetery in Blue Rapids Kansas, where John will be laid to rest next to his parents.
