Jessie Hoffman, 90, Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at a local care center.
Jessie was born December 13, 1917 in Fate, Missouri, the daughter of William and Essie (McNeal) Patterson.
She worked at the Sunflower Munnitions Plant during World War II, Allstate Insurance Company, Super Service Food Distributors, and the Reust Family Restaurant as a cashier for over 20 years.
Jessie married Keith Hoffman in 1939. He died in 1978. Survivors include daughters, Joyce Hulse and husband, Lauren, Yerington, NV, Julie Hoffman, Topeka; son, Richard Hoffman and wife, Carol, Highlands Ranch, CO; six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Private family inurnment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
