Jessica Treat

Jessica Treat, born September 24, 1984, passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2026, in Topeka, Kansas. She was 41 years old. 

Jessica loved her children more than anything in the world. Her children were the center of her life, and she was a devoted and loving mother. Those who knew her will remember how deeply she cared for her family and the special love she shared with her children. 

Jessica also dearly loved her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins and treasured the time she spent with them. 

Jessica had many friends and had a natural way of making people feel welcome. Her warm and memorable personality touched the lives of many people. She loved her job at Whitson Elementary School in Topeka and cared deeply about the students and people she worked with. 

Jessica is survived by her children, Dakota Dylan Kent, Dawsyn Dayne Treat, and Dempsey Decklyn Sell; her parents, Tammy and Steve Treat; and her sisters, Amy Treat-Wilcox (Ben) and Ellie Treat. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved child, Daytona Devyn Kent-Treat; her grandparents, Richard and Eleanor Marie Kueter and Mary Jane Sanderson; her uncle, Allen Davis; and her aunt, Meta Davis. 

No funeral services are scheduled. A Celebration of Life will be held in September in Topeka. Additional details will be shared with family and friends.

Jessica will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love she had for her children, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends. To her children, she was the best mother, and her love will remain with them always.
