James Wolfe, 62, of Topeka, passed away on 23 December 2025 at Midland Care Hospice.
He was born on 22 August 1963 to Calvin and Gail (Miller) Wolfe at Topeka, Kansas. He graduated from Topeka High School and Kaw Area Vo-Tech. A licensed master electrician and a machinist, he worked for several local manufacturing plants and the City of Topeka Parks & Recreation Dept., and also operated Ironmongers machine shop. He was an avid Scrabble player and a skilled craftsman who worked on everything from jewelry to diesel trucks.
James is survived by his wife Christine, his sister Robin (Ray) Espinosa, his aunt Sandra Miller, his nephew Jacob Wolfe, his longtime friend and business partner Nancy Lowman, five children, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Calvin C. Wolfe, Jr., and Gail C. Fisher.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, 1:00 pm at the Vassar Cemetery, Vassar, Kansas, with Reverend Jerry Schmid, officiating.
