Georgie Ruth Crouch

Georgie Ruth Crouch passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, in Liberty, MO. She was 90 years old and lived a long life. She was born Georgie Ruth Lamer on May 3, 1935, to Harold and Edna (Veatch) Lamer in Salina, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and her sister Glenda. She is survived by her husband Eldon Crouch of Burlington, KS, brother Eric (Deana) Lamer of Salina, and daughters Judy (Dale) Marcell of Liberty, MO and Janet Jones of Topeka, KS. She leaves behind eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

One of Georgie’s passions was tap dancing. She was an avid dancer and attempted to teach tap to all of her grandchildren. She taught tap lessons to both the young and elderly.

Georgie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her family, friends and fellow members knew of her great love for her Savior, Jesus Christ.

She will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery at 4700 SW 17th Street, Topeka, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Elara Caring Hospice, 4200 Little Blue Parkway Suite 530, Independence, MO 64057.
