Elizabeth A. Simpler

Elizabeth Agnes Simpler, 96, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012. Elizabeth worked for 26 years as a personnel assistant at Colmery- O'Neil VA Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Survivors include two sons Will Saylor, Blount, Co., TN; and Bob Saylor, Harris, Co., TX.
Mrs. Simpler will lie in state after 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, where the family will greet friends from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. that evening. A funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
