Earl Dean Dorsey Sr.

It is with great sorrow and sadness that Earl Dorsey, 85; of Topeka KS, passed away November 19, 2025. He had suffered some health issues in the last few years of his time with us. He was born May 15, 1940 in Arkansas to Donna B. Jones, he was the oldest of 14 children. He had a long history of working from a young teenager all the way up into his 70's. He was a metal building contractor for the large part of his life.

He was proud of what he accomplished in life despite having limited resources. It was a career that spanned almost 60 years.

Earl is survived by his four sons Earl Jr., Stephen (Ibraheem), Tony, and Michael, three daughters Marie, Darlene, and Linda, three sisters Mildred, Ruby, and Dorothy (Miss Tee), may cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The list of people who were fortunate enough to have known him is very long.

He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice Dorsey, brothers, sisters, and his mother. Apologies to anyone who may have been forgotten.
