Dorothea Lee Phelps, 88, Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at a local care center.
Dorothea was born June 22, 1918 in Topeka, the daughter of Jess and Kittie (Harrison) Seymore.
She enjoyed her children and grandchildren, cooking, camping, and was a member of Circus Model Builders and Circus Fans of America.
She married Manuel W. Phelps on July 7, 1937 at Holton. He died February 10, 2004. Survivors include four children; Marlyne Kauffman and husband, Ray, Topeka, David Phelps and wife, Jan, San Diego, California, Daniel Frank Phelps and wife, Carmen, Topeka, Debra Lyne Filby and husband, Jim, Overland Park; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Hartzell.
Cremation is planned and a Memorial service will be held at a later date.
