Donna Louise Page

July 27, 1955 — April 30, 2025

Donna Louise Page, born July 27, 1955, in Topeka, Kansas, passed away on April 30, 2025, surrounded by cherished memories and the deep love of her family. A devoted wife and loving mother, Donna dedicated her life to those she cared for and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A proud graduate of Washburn Rural High School, Class of 1973, Donna began her career shortly after with Hallmark. Over the course of 39 years, she poured her heart into her work, celebrating the power of words and connection through greeting cards. She ran printing presses with precision and pride—a skilled operator who excelled at her craft. Just as she brought care to her work, she never forgot to send cards to those she loved, always marking birthdays, holidays, and milestones with heartfelt messages. She retired in 2012, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and meaningful impact.

Her love story with her husband began 51 years ago when they met and shared a game of pool—a moment that changed everything. Captivated by her beauty, bright laugh, and open heart, he later left a note on her car asking to see her again. From that day forward, their friendship blossomed into a deep and enduring love. They were each other’s constant, each other’s safe place—the kind of love many spend a lifetime searching for. That love didn’t end with her passing; it lives on—gentle and enduring—in their son Herman. He carries her kindness, her resilience, and her warmth, and he shares it with everyone he meets. In this way, her love continues to ripple outward.

Donna’s interests reflected her joyful spirit. She loved long country drives, soaking in the beauty of nature, and challenging her mind with puzzles. Her joy in collecting small treasures brought smiles to those she held dear, as she would often gift these little delights to her loved ones—a gentle reminder of her thoughtfulness and generosity. Known for her quick wit and warm humor, Donna had a gift for brightening even the darkest days.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Herman Lee Page, and their son, Herman (Aja) Page. Together, they built a life full of laughter, strength, and unconditional love, all grounded in Donna’s steadfast love and support.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit lives on—in every act of kindness, every fond memory, and in the love she nurtured that continues to grow. Her legacy is one of compassion, grace, and unwavering dedication, and it will be cherished always.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation is planned. In honor of her love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st St., Topeka, KS 66604-3720.
