Dixie Gayle Daugherty, 61, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
She was born March 28, 1962, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Gene and Margaret (Wirsig) Osborn. She attended Topeka High School.
Dixie loved Jesus and was strong in her faith. She was collector of new friends and found enjoyment in collecting little trinkets. She found pleasure in the smallest things and is leaving behind a lot love and laughter.
She leaves behind her daughter, Nikki (Jason Shuckahosee) Daugherty; grandchild, Izaiah Hurley; significant other, Brian Chapman; siblings, Teri (Roger) Burwell, Becki (John) Copeland, Jodi Osborn and Mitchell (Courtney) J. Osborn and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents and brother, Kelly Osborn.
Honoring her wishes, cremation is planned and a private celebration of her life will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
