Clara L. Emmons, 93, of Topeka, passed away on June 24, 2024 at Midland Care.
She was born on December 11, 1930 to Edgar and Louise (Bobst) McClellan in Horton, KS.
Clara graduated from Hiawatha High School class of 1948. She worked as a Senior Nosologist for State of KS, Office of Vital Statistics for over 24 years. She was a former member of the Clarice Chapter #390 O.E.S.
On September 14, 1952, she married Kipp Maytag Emmons.
Clara is survived by her daughter; Connie (Patrick) Long, Four Grandchildren, Six Great-Grandchildren and daughter in-law; Karla Emmons.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Kipp Maytag Emmons, son; Kim M. Emmons, brother; Michael McClellan and her parents.
Graveside services will be Friday, July 5, 2024 at 10:00am at Memorial Park Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66606.
