Charlene M. Hogue, 81, of Topeka, passed away, Thursday, April 5, 2012.
She was born April 17, 1930 to Bayard & Eva (Russell) Taylor in Eskridge, Kansas.
Charlene was a graduate of Eskridge High School and attended Emporia State College.
She married William Hogue in 1949. They divorced in 1976.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Victoria Hogue; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Russell Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Hogue.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS, 66604. Inurnment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Topeka Civic Theater.
