Catherine "Cath" Ann Dietrick

Catherine "Cath" Ann (Golick) Dietrick, 64, of Topeka, passed away Monday, January 20, 2026.

She was born April 4, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Edward and Mrytle (Hayward) Golick. She graduated from Chadsey High School. She attended Ashland University.

Cath was a paraprofessional at McEachron Elementary for over ten years. She also worked in the medical record department at Stormont Vail Hospital for over 15 years.

She had a special love for her grandchildren and enjoyed the time she was able to spend with them. She was loved to curl up with a good book. Cath enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs and talking with her sister in law, Sarah.

Catherine married Matthew Dietrick on June 3, 2020 in Topeka, Kansas.

She leaves behind her husband, Matthew E. Dietrick; her children, Jordan (Erin) (Golick)Dietrick, Travis (Amber) Dietrick, Sarah (Josh) Meyer and Amanda (Jose) Guadalupe; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Golick, Pammy Golick, Anna Marie Golick, Edward (Sherry) Golick, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joey Golick

A memorial ceremony will be held at 11:00 am., Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Northland Christian Church. Her family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior to the service. In her honor, contributions can be made to American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 1120 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, MO 64105.
