Carolyn Montgomery, 75, of Topeka, passed away on March 27, 2024 in Topeka, Kansas.

She was born on February 26, 1949 to James and Georgia (Shields) Spiker here in Topeka, Kansas. Carolyn worked as a food technology lab technician at Hills Pet Nutrition for 24 years.

On May 29, 1987, she married Theodore "Ted" Montgomery. Carolyn and Ted lived in Berryton, Kansas where they shared 34 years of loving marriage. They cherished every moment making memories with family and loved ones. She was an active member at Ravenwood lodge where she participated in competitive FITASC shooting for many years.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Spiker, mother, Georgia Mae Spiker, sister; Cookie Besta, sister; Pat Spiker, and brother; James Curtis Spiker.

Carolyn is survived by her son; Todd Flanagan, daughter; Sheri Flanagan, sister; Misty Snyder, Sister; Cindy Spiker, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024, 9:30 am at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, Topeka, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held following visitation on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, 10:30 am at the Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, Topeka, Kansas. Committal will immediately follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
