Carolyn Ann Burnham, 76, of Topeka, died February 12, 2015, at Stormont-Vail Hospital from complications from lung surgery. She was born July 29, 1938, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Elmer and Gertrude Burch.
Carolyn was a 1956 graduate of Hutchinson High School. She was a homemaker and avid quilter, winning numerous ribbons for her work.
She is survived by her husband of over 55 years, William J. Burnham; son, Lawrence; daughter, Laura; grandson, Alexander; granddaughters, Amanda and Alaina Lee; and brother, Ronnie Burch.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Barbara Martin.
Carolyn was cremated. A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015, at the Mount Hope Chapel, 4700 SW 17th, Topeka, Kansas 66604. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
