Betty loved animals, especially her many pets including her favorite childhood pet cow, Bonnie. In her retirement years, Betty enjoyed traveling and was able to go to the British Isles, Belgium, Israel, Egypt, the Bahamas as well as much of the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.
