Andrea S. Mills

Andrea S. Mills, 71 of Topeka, KS passed away on May 11th, 2026 at Stormont Vail Hospital after injuries received in an automobile accident.

She was born September 30th, 1954 in Russell, Ks. The daughter of Harry and “Pat” Geraldine Kuhn.

Andrea graduated from Topeka West High School in 1972 and remained in contact with several classmates through the years.

In 1994 she met Arthur Mills “Mac” and they married July 3rd of 1995 at the First Presbyterian Church in Topeka Ks. She enjoyed family most of all, kids and grandkids, being at the local lakes, vacationing that took them from Los Angeles, California to Annapolis, Maryland, and many locations in between. She also enjoyed boating, water skiing, snow skiing, concerts, and local theater group plays. Most of this with kids and some with grandkids in tow.

Together they had a combined family, children: Jandi Deforest and Joseph Mills and two grandkids.

Andrea worked for Payless Shoesource as a Warehouse Supervisor, Rework Coordinator.

Andrea will most be remembered by her family for her sense of humor and unconditional love, a trait picked up by many in her circle.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur Mills, two sisters, Sherry Paroulek and Brenda Abney, and children, Jandi Deforest and Joseph Mills.

Andrea was proceeded in death by her parents and brother, Harry Richard (Dick) Kuhn.

Funeral services will take place at Penwell-Gabel: Midtown Chapel – 1321 SW 10th Avenue Topeka KS on Tuesday, June 30th 2026. With a visitation from 10:00AM-11:00AM and funeral service beginning at 11:00AM. Burial will take place afterwards at Half Day Cemetery, 3720 NW 62nd St, Topeka, KS 66618.
