Alex Green

July 5, 1993 — August 18, 2021

Alex Jared Green joined loved ones who went before him on August 18, 2021. He shared his life with us for 28 years before succumbing to the Covid-19 Virus. At the time of his passing he was living in Topeka KS with his wife and children and he was surrounded by family.

Alex was born along with his twin brother Zach in Gillette, Wyoming, on July 5, 1993, to Greg and Beth Green, (Jurczewsky).

Alex really enjoyed his family and hanging out with them. He liked to play dice and card games with the family. Alex was well known for his love of machines even at a young age. He would tear down bikes, machines, whatever he could get his hands on even before he knew what to do with them. He enjoyed out door activities like fishing and camping. In Alex's down time he enjoyed gaming and eventually started to stream. Alex had a special kinship with all dogs. His dogs were spoiled and loved being around him. He considered himself a country boy and had a lot of country music in his playlists. He admired pickups and was driving an older Dodge truck.

Alex joined the Marines in 2011 and proudly served as a Main Battle Tank Repairer Tech. for four years, receiving a Marine Corps Good conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and two expert rifle qualification badges.

In 2014 he married Amanda Bateson, (Greene) in San Bernardino, CA. Amanda enhanced Alex's life when she brought Lizzy Bateson in to their relationship. Alex and Amanda had Grayson while living in California. In 2015 they moved to Topeka and eventually they added Maverick, and Wyatt to their family. At the time of his death he was working on machines, which is what he wanted.

His Grandmother and Grandfather, Phyllis, and Duane Jurczewsky preceded Alex in death.

Alex is survived by his wife Amanda Green, their four children, Elizabeth Bateson, of Joshua Tree, CA, Grayson Green of Topeka KS, Maverick Green of Topeka KS, and newly born Wyatt Green of Topeka KS. He is also survived by his mother Beth Green Svalina of Topeka KS and his father Charles (Gregory) Green of Independence MO, brother Dustin Green of Topeka KS, twin brother Zachary Green of Glendale AZ, step father Timothy Svalina Sr. of Topeka KS, brother Timothy Svalina Jr. of Topeka KS, sister Tracy Svalina of Gillette WY, and brother Timothy Green of St. Cloud MN, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
