Micheal Raney, 54, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023.
He was born June 8, 1968, in Oswego, Kansas, the son of Cherry Raney.
Micheal was previously employed by Schendel Pest Services and recently moved to PTMW as a machine operator.
Micheal married Heather Lyn Raney on June, 15, 2001 in Topeka, KS.
Survivors include a wife; Heather Lyn Raney, sons; Brandon Raney, Courben Raney, daughters; Samantha Raney, Emmalee Raney, mother, Cherry Patton, step-father, Edward Patton, brother, Mark (Theresa) Raney, sister, Lori Travnichek, uncle, Joe Raney, brother in-law, Evan (Kayla) Lehman, father in-law, Bill (Cheryl) Lehman, and numerous nephews and nieces and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandma Viola Raney, grandpa Hurley Raney, and uncle, John Raney.
Micheal enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and dogs and helping friends in need. He loved the Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks, as well as watching movies and reading Sci-Fi and fantasy novels. On Saturdays, you could catch him at a local estate or garage sale with his wife collecting antiques.
A Funeral Ceremony will be 10:00 am., Monday, May 8, 2023 at the Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th , Topeka. Interment will follow at 11:00 am., at Mount Hope Cemetery. Family will receive guests 30 minutes prior to service.
