Bruno Sprenks, 84, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

He was born on June 20, 1938, in Cesis, Latvia, Europe, the son of Valters and Anna Sprenks. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1958 and served with the Army National Guard.

Bruno worked at WREN Radio and retired from GoodYear Tire and Rubber Company after 40 years of service.

He was a member of West Side Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge, Golden Rule #90 and the Arab Shrine.

Bruno married Josefina Sablan Cruz Sprenks in 1964 and she preceded him in death in 1995. He is also predeceased by his stepdaughters Sandra Burke, Marlene Hadley and Maria McKenzie.

Survivors include a daughter: Rebekah Finger; Goddaughter: Alma Cruz; best friends: Harry & Pat Carpenter; nieces and nephews: David & Esther Cruz, Juanita Cruz, Patricia Quinata, Rosita Terlaje, Donna Cing, Teresita Toves, Benny Cruz, Joseph Cruz, Robert Cruz, Jesse Cruz, Julia Chaco, Carmen Santos and Jose San Agustin

Services will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 at West Side Baptist Church with visitation from 9:30 am-11:00 am and funeral services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
