In loving memory of James Leon “PD Loc” Wilson, Sr., 44, of Topeka, passed who passed on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

He was born February 18, 1978, in Junction City, Kansas, the son of James Wilson and Brenda Baker. He went to Topeka High School.

James worked at a local liquor store for seven years.

He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandbabies and was loved by many. He also enjoyed boxing and rapping. James enjoyed riding bike and scooters and like working on them.

James leaves behind his children, Leonna Hale, Leondre James Hale, James Leon Hale, Starlene Elizabeth Hale Wilson, Semaj Michael Wilson and Jayme Jeanette Wilson; grandchildren, Nachelle, Richmond, Landyn, Israel and Mia; siblings, Derrick Baker and Julie Nicole Baker; nieces, Allison, Myresha, Ashley, Briana, Derika, Ahjanaye, Alaysia, Diamonique and Aunerika; nephews, Bret, Derrick and Breylin; mother of his children, Jennifer Hale and Patricia Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

His family will greet friends for a memorial visitation from 1:00pm-4:00pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, Kansas 66604. Memorial contributions may be made to Leonna Hale in care of Penwell Gabel Funeral Home to be used for funeral expenses.
