Marjorie “Marge” (Niemann) Carver, of Topeka, passed away November 23, 2021 surrounded by her family in Overland Park.

Marge was born January 6, 1930, the daughter of Louis C. Niemann and Effie Brunkow Niemann in Nortonville, KS. She was married to Jerry C. Carver on June 21, 1953 in Nortonville, KS. He preceded her in passing on April 16, 2008.

Marge and her twin brother Junior graduated from Atchinson County Community High School, Effingham, in 1947. She worked at Adams Brothers Salesbook Co. for 8 years and later worked for several retail stores and Washburn Bookstore. She was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church and a member of Miriam Circle.

Survivors include daughters, Cynthia (Ken) Fensin, Holden, MA; Sharon (Jim) Lee, Mahnomen, MN; Nancy (Alan) Brown, Olathe, KS; Son, Marc (Melissa) Carver, Papillion, NE; 7 grandchildren, 3 great granddaughters; 1 sister Phyllis McCarthy, Lawrence; sister-in-law, Ruth Niemann, Rushville, MO.

She is preceded in passing by her parents and 2 brothers.

She possessed the qualities of a great mom, who was selfless, kind and genuine.

Visitation will be held at Faith Lutheran Church Friday, December 3, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Garden.
