Sharon A. Sumner, 76, Topeka, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021.

Sharon was born June 30, 1945 in Holton, the daughter of Frank and Louise (Wagner) Hollander. She graduated from Whiting High School.

Sharon married Ronald Sumner on July 12, 1980 in Topeka. Her husband of 41 years survives. Other survivors include daughters; Teresa Meredith, husband Bill of Oak Grove, MO, Sarah Sumner of Topeka, and Rebekah Johnson, husband Christopher of Topeka; grandson, Christopher Meredith; brother, Max Hollander, Topeka; and sister, Rosemary Thonen, Circleville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Hollander.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1972 and served as a regular pioneer in the Colly Creek Congregation for 31 years.

Sharon enjoyed many hobbies including crocheting, embroidery, quilting, and sewing clothes for her family.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held via Zoom 1:30 PM, Saturday December 4, 2021 https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81723631079
