1984 - 2021

Kristin L. (Krissy) Banman, 37, of Topeka, KS, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Midland Care Hospice House after a brave and lengthy fight with cancer. Krissy was born January 15, 1984 in Topeka, the daughter of Nelson and Barb Banman.

Krissy graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 2002. Since 2002, Krissy had several part-time jobs including book packer at a local book bindery, housekeeper (nursing homes/hotels) and grocery sacker at Brookwood Dillons. Krissy’s favorite job, however, was Food Service Worker at Ross Elementary School - she adored the students and developed lasting friendships with staff and fellow Food Service Workers. Krissy was a member of Countryside United Methodist Church.

Krissy is survived by her parents, Nelson and Barb Banman, her sister Kerri (Vinny) DiRosa of Lees
Summit, MO, her niece Ella DiRosa, nephew Torrey DiRosa and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Countryside United Methodist Church, 3221 SW Burlingame Rd, Topeka, KS 66611. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Countryside United Methodist Church, 3221 SW Burlingame Rd., Topeka, KS 66611-2006.
