Dear Banman Family,
From your Ross family, our deepest condolences go out to your family. When news hit of Ms. Banman's passing, staff throughout the building shared memories of the impact Kristin had on our school, her colleagues, and the scholars of Ross Elementary. It means the world to know that one of her favorite places was our school, and we're proud to remember her as a Roadrunner forever.

Dear Banman Family,
On behalf of your Topeka Public Schools family, we are deeply saddened by the passing of your daughter, and our former employee, Kristin, “Krissy”. Please know and trust that you are not alone as you journey through this difficult time. Please be aware that Krissy’s school family at Ross Elementary and her friends across the district in food service are also sharing in remembering her as the kind and service minded soul that she showed them every day.
Prior to Ms. Banman leaving Topeka Public School District, I had the pleasure of visiting the schools and the cafeterias at both Ross and Eisenhower schools. I remember witnessing Ms. Banman as she served the children and staff over the lunch hour and how she greeted every child with a smile. She was truly beloved by many and took pleasure in her work. She impacted thousands of people through her service and that impact lives on.
Take solace in the blessing Ms. Banman was to all, her impact, and the memories that will live on forever. We thank you for sharing her with our school family and we pray that positive memories of a kind and caring daughter comfort you and your family.
My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

I am so saddened to hear of Krissy's passing. I knew her and her family through youth group at Countryside. She always had a lovely smile and open heart. My prayers will be for your family as you process her death and your grief. My heart breaks for your loss. My sincere condolences.

Barb and Nelson, I am so very sorry to hear about Kristin. I know that there is no way that anyone can say anything to take away even the most remote of loss you feel. When Nelson heard that I was getting married, he reminded me that I swore that would never happen. When it did and after 30 years and two daughters later I grieve even more. When I told Gina about Kristin I told her and started to pray about her. I am just so very sad for you both. I have tried for the past 30+ years to find the right way to tell people how sorry I am for their loss when a loved one dies and I have yet to find a way to tell you how losing a family member can be eased with words. I have found that nothing that I think say or do will ever help. We are praying for you both.

Krissy and I went to berryton elementary school together and she was one of my very few friends.
I remember her birthday party so (early early 90s) and she got a Alan Jackson cassette tape and we danced to it so much.
I would see Krissy at Dillons once we were adults, but she's one person I never forgot about from our Berryton Buffalo days. I'm sorry to hear of her passing. She was such a amazing girl and woman

I worked at Ross Elementary for 4 years...I knew Krissy and often rode the bus with her...Very sweet young lady...prayers for friends and family

Krissy was a joy, and a light that shone. She always had a smile and we would tease each other and joke around as I'd go through the lunch line at Ross Elementary getting lunch for the kiddos. She always spoke, and was nice to me. I retired, and came back to sub, and she was gone. I missed her. Still do. I send my heartfelt condolences to you her parents, and family. Take your rest Krissy.

My heart is with you, Barb and family. I knew Krissy from the stories Barb would tell me. May Kristin rest in eternal peace and perpetual light shine upon her and all the faithfully departed.

Krissy always had such a open and giving spirit. She meet everyone where they were at. I pray I would pray that God would give me one tenth the Krissy's strength and courage which Krissy approached her journey with Cancer. Krissy will be missed, but her memory will last in each of us for having known her.

Oh goodness do I have memories. I got to be the person that helped Krissy get to our bus after school elementary school. No matter what kind of mood I was in that day Krissy always made me laugh and smile. Also in elementary school, if Krissy had good behavior for the week her teacher rewarded her with getting to choose one person out of anybody to eat lunch with her in her classroom… I was always chosen and I am grateful I got to know her so well. A heart of good and unforgettable laughter. My heart is broken to hear she has passed. She had so much to bring to the world. I am thankful she is no longer in pain. RIP Krissy????

Krissy will be missed! Always enjoyed hearing her laughter and enjoyed her sense of humor. She was a very determined and brave person to deal with all the cancer treatments that was administered to her. She was a very strong and courageous girl! We loved her very much! May she Rest In Peace, in sincere sympathy, Bert and Linda Wilson
