Geneva M. (Little) Seward, 94, passed away peacefully of natural causes at home in Topeka, Kansas, on September 18th, 2021.

She was the daughter of Virgil and Delia Little and was born on March 16, 1927 in Muscotah, Kansas. She graduated from Washburn Rural High School. She married Dale Seward on October 27, 1946 and they celebrated 66 years of marriage before his passage in November, 2012.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church since 1948 and in her early years helped in Sunday school for 5 year olds. She also served as President of the Women's Association.

She was employed at the Kansas Legislature in 1966. She retired from the House of Representatives in December 1988 after serving 11 years as Chief Clerk of the House.

Geneva and Dale belonged to the KAMO Camping Club and enjoyed traveling in their Motorhome for many years. After they retired, they spent 22 winters in Mesa, Arizona.

Survivors include son Roger (Vicki) Seward, daughters Jan Brumm and Pam (Geary) Marsolais, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 2 brothers and sister-in-law Morris and Virgil (Shirley) Little.

Graveside memorial service will be 1 pm, Monday, September 27, 2021 at Mount Hope Cemetery.
