Reginald Cressey "Reg" Wescott Jr., 66, Auburn, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021.

He was born October 4, 1954, in Marysville, California, the son of Reginald C. Wescott, Sr. and Katherine (Tauscher) Enos.
He graduated from Colusa High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from Kansas State University. He served in the Army from 1974-1979 with a rank of Specialist 4.

Reg was a Vegetation Manager/Arborist with Westar Energy for 25 years retiring in December 2014.

He was a member of Redemption Center Church, where he served as an Elder. Reg was also a member of the International Arborist Association and Kansas Arborist. He served as a precinct chairman in the City of Auburn and was a Boy Scout leader for Troop 175 and 117. He enjoyed tennis and racing motorcycles in hare scrambles at Santa Fe Trails Cycle Park and Jeeps in Wichita.

On September 7, 1975, he married Margaret “Linda” Wescott in Dorrance, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Mark L. Wescott (Melissa), Topeka; his mother, Katherine Enos, Grass Valley, CA; grandchildren, Yahanna, Lawrence, Mark R.A., Crystal Wescott, and Isaiah Lewis; brothers, Rick Wescott (Kim), Visalia, CA; Rodney Wescott (Rose), Meridian, CA; and Randy Wescott (Angela), Grass Valley, CA; two nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial service will be 2pm, Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Redemption Center Church, 1017 NW Gordon St, Topeka. Private inurnment with military honors will be at Fort Riley Post Cemetery.
