David Eugene Ohse, 87, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at his home in West Plains, Missouri.

He was born May 30, 1933 in St. Joseph, Missouri to O. Fred and Leona B. (Roehrs) Ohse. He graduated from high school in Topeka, KS and then attended Kansas State University graduating in 1955 with a degree in Business Administration. While at K-State he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. It is there he met and married Beverly Miller. David always said he loved solving problems and he took great pride in the successful business he created with Southwest Publishing.

In addition to his work, David loved the outdoors. He was an avid golfer, tennis player, skier, and loved to hunt and fish. He bought a second home on Lake Taneycomo near Branson, Missouri so he could pursue his love of trout fishing. It is in Branson that he met and married (2012) Kimberly Schnacker Ohse.

David is survived by his wife, Kimberly; his children, Brent Ohse Menninger (Victoria), Fred Ohse (Julie), Beth Ohse Johnson (Dan); and two grandsons, Wyatt and Henry Ohse. Other survivors include his step-children, Felicia (Trip), Leona (Brandon), Jessica (Steve), Phillip (Heather), Wayne (Katie) and their many grandchildren.
