Larry Stephen Wilson, 71, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021.

He was born November 2, 1949, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Phillip Cooper and Betty Jane (Farrell) Wilson. He was a graduate of Washburn University and George Mason University. He served in the United States Army from 1974 stationed in Germany and Washington D.C., until being honorably discharged in 1977.

Larry owned and operated Topper Office Cleaners in Herndon, Virginia.

He was a member of Lions Club and YMCA of Topeka.

Larry married Ardith Walmer in 1971. They later divorced. Survivors include his son, Benton “Scott” (Misty) Wilson of Zanesville, OH; three grandchildren, Austin, Haley and Natalie; and two sisters, Linda Thomas of Arizona and Lori Williams of Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry enjoyed reading and riding his bicycle.

Cremation is planned. A graveside service with military honors will be held at a later date.
