Mary Ann Thompson, 61, of Carbondale, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021.

She was born July 1, 1959, in Fenton, Missouri, the daughter of Robert and Patricia (Wirtz) Krampf. She graduated from Sandalwood Junior Senior School in Jacksonville, Florida.

She cared about everyone, had a lot of friends and loved to help anyone in need. She enjoyed to be out in the flower garden, read, color and do cross word puzzles. She loved to joke around and laugh. She loved all things Thomas Kinkade and leopard print. She loved dinosaurs, hot wheels, dragons and the Tasmanian devil and the original Looney Tunes. She collected crystal and tea pots.

She and her husband loved to watch movies together, they had quite the collection with older TV shows being some of her favorite.

She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandkids. She would bring out her favorites to share with them; dinosaurs, hot wheels and colors.

Mary Ann married Wayne A. Thompson on April 22, 2006 in Carbondale, Kansas, he survives. Other survivors include her mom, Patricia Krampf; sister, Donna (Tim) Farley; daughter, Kimberly (Kelly) Gleich; son, Jeremy (Kelly) Gleich; step-sons, Shane Thompson, and Justin (Danielle) Thompson; step-daughters, Melissa (Chuck) Stark and Kayla (Matt) Thompson; grandchildren, Faith, Makenna, Kellan, Trenton, Dakota, Dalton, Caleb, CheyAnn, Luke, Aiden, Joseph, and Jaydn; niece, Kristen (Corey) Miles; great-nephews, Zachary and Gavin and her babies, Chico and Peede. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert George Krampf and brother, Robert Krampf, II.

The family will greet friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Penwell-Gabel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66604. Cremation will follow the visitation and private burial will take place at a later date.
