Madeline Brockmeier
Resident of Topeka, Kansas
Nov. 26, 1933 - Jan. 31, 2021

In loving memory of Madeline Ruth (Cott) Brockmeier. Madeline was an example to all who knew her of a life that was well lived.

Madeline was born in White City, KS and graduated from Lincolnville High School. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Topeka. She worked for many years as a secretary at the Topeka Lutheran School. She enjoyed country dancing with her husband, Darrell. She also enjoyed gardening, working on genealogy, quilting, and traveling. However, the greatest joy in her life was spending time with her family and friends. She loved her family and friends with all her heart.

Madeline now joins her loving husband, Darrell, who passed in 2019. She is survived by daughter Darla (Micheal) Hewett of Cameron Park, CA and grandchildren Laura (Liam) Bastida of Rocklin, CA, Jon (Jessica) Nolan of San Jose, CA, Allie Hewett of San Jose, CA, and Heather Nolan of San Francisco, CA, and great-grandchildren James and Madelyn. She is also survived by her brother James Cott of Salina, KS.

She was deeply loved by all who knew her. She will always be remembered and greatly missed.

A celebration of Madeline's life will be held at a later date. The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Topeka Lutheran Schools, 701 SW Roosevelt Street, Topeka, KS, 66604 https://www.topekalutheran.org/.
