Mrs. Alice Irene Snyder, age 98, of Topeka KS, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at McCrite Senior Living facility. She was born on November 19, 1922 in Osborne, KS the daughter of the late Vern and Edna Waugh.
She was raised in Osborne, Kansas and graduated from Osborne for High school on May 5th 1944. She was united in Marriage with Earl Snyder on June 2, 1944 in Osborne, KS. They raised two children together son Paul and daughter Alice.
Irene was a Jehovah’s Witnesses and very devote to her congregation. She was baptized on Feb 27, 1960 and a member of the Kingdom Hall in Topeka KS.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Earl; brothers, Bob, Jerry, Everett, and Jack Waugh; sisters Nellie Waits, Edna Lucille Jacobe.
Alice (Irene) is survived by her two children son Paul Snyder and daughter-in-law Dwaynie Snyder; daughter Alice McDonald and son-in-law Gary McDonald; three grandchildren Gary McDonald, Julie Bondurant and Amanda McDonald; three great grandchildren Aleksander Hummer, Austin Bondurant and Regan Bondurant; Also surviving are siblings, Lowell (Janette) Waugh, Helen Priest, Jane (Eugene) Lindeman and Trudy Morgan Hastings, Gloria Ann Thomas, Eloise Brack. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
