Virginia Irene (Howerton) (St. Clair) Gray, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away November 1, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Virginia Irene was born in Quinter, Kansas, to Goldie Alice (Hays) Howerton and Marion Wesley Howerton.

She married Donald Howard St. Clair in June 1965 and divorced in 1979.

Virginia Irene married Milton Eugen Gray on June 28, 1980, until he passed in 2006.

Virginia is preceded in death by her Mother Goldie (Hays) Howerton, her father Marion Howerton, and five of her siblings Frank Howerton, Alice Owens, Evelyn Breaks, Inita Simmons, Dolly Melton, and her husband(s), Donald St. Clair and Milton Gray and her eldest daughter Donna Marie St. Clair (Keithley).

Virginia Irene, beloved mother and sister, is survived by her eldest son Donald St. Clair (wife Lisa) of Colorado Spring, CO, daughter Deenna St. Clair of Fort Worth, TX, and sons Robert St. Clair (wife Claudia) of Topeka, KS, Milton Gray II of S. Coffeyville, OK, and youngest son Mathew Gray (wife Jaimie) of Topeka, KS. Her cherished sister Violet Williams of Mobile, AL, and brothers Eddie, Richard, and Marion Howerton all of Topeka, KS.

Virginia Irene was blessed with seventeen (17) grandchildren; Rachel (St.Clair) Rolin (husband Robert), Amber Muffoletto (husband Ricky), Courtlyn and Caitlyn St.Clair, Cassaundra (Zimny) Cocomise (husband Jeremy), Robert Zimny III (wife Nicole), Jonathan Zoellner, Kaci, Kyle, and Kamern St.Clair, Mark, Ryan, Hunter, Dalton and Breanna Gray, Nathan and Amiyah Gray and ten (10) great-grandchildren; Madison, Savanna, Ricky, Renee, Rhianna, Rolland, Elijah, Emmie, Luca, and a baby boy due March 2021.

Burial services provided by Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home 1321 SW 10th Ave Topeka, Kansas, 66604 and final resting place will be at The Mount Hope Cemetery located at 4700 SW 17th St, Topeka, KS 66604.
